Harding's Painting Calgary's Residential and Commercial Painter

Dalton Harding has been in the painting trade since 1980. The first four years were in Lethbridge Alberta and then in Calgary since 1984. During that time Dalton gained experience in the residential, commercial and condominium markets as a painter, foreman and manager.

While taking business courses on a part-time basis, Dalton became convinced that that there was an opportunity in Calgary for a painting company that presented a Professional Image, delivered a Consistent Quality Product and kept Customers for Life.

With this in mind, Harding's Painting was founded in 1996, committing itself to providing a worry free paint job at a competitive price.

Dalton is married and has four children. He works in the community in the Scouting Program which he has been doing for 10 years and coaches community volleyball. He enjoys sports and ran a Marathon to celebrate turning 40 years old. He still doesn't believe he is that old but his body is reminding him that he is.

Mark Eskesen has been working with Harding's Painting since 1998 and immediately added value to the organization through a depth of painting experience and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Mark grew up as a painter's son, learning the trade at a very young age at the hands of a Master Craftsman. His dad has star status as a painter in Vancouver, and has painted and associated with celebrities such as James Clavell, Roger Moore and Sean Connery and even had his picture on a line of paint manufactured by General Paint.

After painting full-time in the trade for 16 years, mostly with his father, he decided he wanted to make his own mark in the painting trade and develop his own reputation, Moving to Calgary with his wife in 1998 he joined forces with Harding's Painting.

Mark is married and has four children. He loves life and has a gregarious personality. He enjoys being around people but also enjoys his solitude. Mark lives in Tuscany.

Elemer Vadaszi began his career as a painter by working for Landmark Homes as well as California Homes in new construction. Since the summer of 2000 he has been working for Harding's Painting, where he gained the type of experience that makes Elemer an exceptional painter.

Elemer strongly believes in always providing the costumer with the highest quality of service. He offers the client a very honest and professional relationship, in which he pays attention to the smallest detail.

Elemer Is originally from Hungary, where he earned a couple of university degrees in education and was a High school teacher. He lives in McKenzie Towne with his familiy.

Attila Draskóczy has been in the painting trade since 1995 and has been working with Harding's Painting since 2000. His first two years experience was in new residential construction with Jayman Master Builders. Prior to his painting career, Attila was in the Concrete Tile Roofing industry.

Attila is a valued employee of Harding's Painting. He brings with him over 15 years of customer service experience. His attention to detail is impressive. Attila cannot walk through a home without taking notice of the painting…good or bad. He immediately learned the value of customer service and satisfaction while working as a waiter and bartender for five years at the Calgary Golf and Country Club.

Attila and his parents came to Canada from Hungary in 1984 to begin a new life. He spends most of his free time as Artistic Director of the Vadrózsa Hungarian Folk Dancers with his wife Suzanna and walking their dog, a Hungarian (of course) Puli. If he still has time to spare, he squeezes in as much soccer, European team handball, badminton, table tennis and foosball as possible.

Corey Arsenault has been in the painting trade since 1998. He has a business degree and goes the extra mile to satisfy his customers. Corey prides himself on consistently improving the business by hiring only qualified painters, using premium products and above all, giving professional customer service at a competitive rate. Corey strives to impress his customers so much so that will voluntarily give his name onto friends and family who also need painting.

Corey joined Harding's Painting because all of the partners share the same overall goal of giving superior painting services and building the most recognized and reputable painting company in Calgary.

Corey is originally from Prince Edward Island and is married to an elementary teacher. He loves life in Calgary but does admit that he misses the ocean view.

Stan Christmas began his painting career while attending University. Upon graduation with a degree in Industrial Education Stan's career path has taken several twists and turns. Stan has been a sales rep for Apple Computer and D-Link networks, a funeral director and a service technician in the construction industry. Through a circuitous route Stan returned to the painting industry and has been with Harding's painting since early 2005.

Stan takes pride in his craft and is committed to customer satisfaction. During his first year with Harding's Stan received an award for his outstanding workmanship.

Married for 24 years to his wife, Corinne, they have a daughter studying fine arts at The University of Lethbridge. When not working Stan enjoys running, mountain biking, hiking & camping.

Peter Whiteley grew up in England, although he was born in Northern Ontario. As a teenager he painted with his father, and learned the mysteries of hanging wallpaper. He joined Harding's Painting in 2004, and is working hard to provide his customers with the best quality in painting and service.

While not painting, Peter enjoys keeping active by playing league volleyball, basketball at the church he attends, and keeping up with his 2 sons (who both work with him), and his teenage daughter. Peter and family live in Sundance.

Peter and his team have received the highest overall customer feedback rating in the company for 2005, and again in 2006.

Harlend Brisden began painting in 1973 in Montreal, Quebec when his landlord asked him to paint a deck. That autumn he married and continued painting for 2 more years. He and his wife moved to Vancouver and began working for a large health food warehouse.

Several years later he began his own painting company and worked as manager and painter, primarily servicing interior design companies, until 2001 when he moved to Calgary.

In' 2002 he began working with Harding's Painting and discovered a company with a similar attitude and viewpoint "Vision" as his own. Customer satisfaction and "Standard of Excellence" have always been his hallmarks. Harlend is a good communicator, hearing the customers needs and addressing them conscientiously.

Cory Hungle is a native Calgarian who started painting in new homes in 1995. While doing service work as a foreman in the Garrison Woods projects Cory quickly found himself actively involved with customer satisfaction, colour consults, and precision. Soon after he found himself looking for a more customer orientated atmosphere.

Cory joined the Harding's team in 2003 and his wife shortly thereafter. It has been said that as a painter Cory was good but Cory and Brandy Hungle together as a team were great. They have since grown with the company as painters to Managers.

Cory and Brandy have been married 11 years. They love working together but always enjoy taking some time to spend as a family with their 3 kids. As if they couldn't get enough of each other, in their spare time they also exercise, jog,and enjoy a healthy lifestyle.

My name is Justin Bourdreau, and I am a Licensee with Harding’s Painting. I was born and raised in Moncton, New Brunswick. I started my painting career in Jasper, Alberta at the Sawridge Hotel. That job included Interiors, Exteriors and some wood work. I have since been painting for 9 years, and when I came to Calgary I stared working for Harding’s. Initially I worked under, Dalton, and then began working under Mark. I learned so much working for this company. The company had a wonderful city wide reputation, with outstanding customer service, and great rates. The incredible training that I have received from Mark, had helped become a better painter, and helped me land the job as a Licensee. I receive such great support from the company and the other managers, that I know when and if any problem arises that I have several people I can turn to.

Stacy Johnson joined the Harding Group in 2007 and brings 15 years of management and paint knowledge by working as a store manager for ICI Paints. He is committed to customer service and takes pride in his work and attention to detail. Stacy is eager to grow as a member of the Harding Team.

Stacy was born in Kelowna and grew up in Calgary. He has been married to Sandy for 10 years and they have an 8-year-old son Spencer. When not working, Stacy enjoys playing hockey, music and spending time at their cabin at Shuswap Lake.

Sabin Naghi came to Canada in 1999 from Hungary. He moved around Canada living in Saskatoon, Vancouver, and then finally finding his roots in Calgary, where he met his wife. Sabin has been working with Harding’s painting since 2003. He was first in the new construction side of the business, then he was a warranty technician for a year, and from there he moved over to residential repaints. His number one value is to make customers happy. Sabin during his off time likes to ride his dirt bike, go for long drives, but most importantly likes to spend time with his new born son and his daughter.

EDMONTON

Daniel Doucet is 27 years old and has been in the painting industry a number of years now. After working for a few other companies he started at Harding’s, and has had a great success with them in Calgary. After Dan' wife became pregnant, with their first child, they decided to move up to Edmonton, and just as Dan’s family expanded so did the Harding’s group of owners. Dan has become first owner to move north to Edmonton and is working hard on building and maintaining the Harding’s Brand. In Dan’s spare time you can find him training in the art of Muai Thai, kicking back with his family, or cooking up something his wife would call “exotic”.

CORPORATE TRAINER

Michael Holmes, a native Calgarian, began in the trade in late 1995 doing exterior work and new homes. He came to Harding's Painting in 1997 and has been with the company ever since. His accomplishments include "Top Honors" in the SAIT Painting and Decorating Program, which resulted in the top Red Seal Journeyman award for Alberta in 2003. Mike has personally set the quality level of the company and continually strives to better himself at the trade by trying new equipment and new products. He prides himself in using a set system to get the job done professionally no matter how big or small.

ADMINISTRATION

Shelly Moore started with Harding's Painting in January 2004. She was hired part-time primarily to answer and distribute customer calls to the various area managers. Shelly's role has since expanded to an Office Manager. She enjoys her position, as she works extensively with all the Area Managers. Shelly looks forward to being a large part of the future growth of Harding's Painting.

Shelly moved to Calgary with her family in 1993. She has been married 23 yrs and has 4 children. Shelly loves to travel and has done so more extensively in the past year, now that her children are leaving the nest. Shelly also does bookkeeping on the side for her husbands company.
